- Passwords are uniquely generated,
protecting students from using personally identifiable information,
making Quiz Lab COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of
1998) compliant.
- Access is encrypted, and
Quiz Lab informs the teacher each time an attempt (successful or unsuccessful)
is made to access his or her account .
- Daily server backups and
offsite storage of archives. Even if a computer is stolen or the hard
drive crashes, all data remains safe and private at Quiz Lab.
- Access encrypted via the
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
- Secure logout for protection
of accounts accessed on a shared computer.
- Every time an attempt to
access a teacher account is made, we email the teacher showing the
date, time, IP address, and the result of the attempt.
- Teacher account is automatically
locked out for an hour whenever three consecutive failed login attempts are made.
Teacher can unlock the account prior to the end of the hour by entering their unlock
password.
- Teacher sees a log of all access
attempts each time they login (see below).
